QUÈ CLASSE DE TIPO ERES? What type are you?

S’agraeix que la difusió del món de la tipografia tinga en compte, cada vegada més freqüentment, als iniciats o a aquells que a penes intueixen la importància d’aquesta disciplina. I actualment això es fa possible gràcies a l’humor inteligent i la didàctica divertida. Recorde quan era estudiant que la tipografia m’agradava molt, però lamentava els grans llistats de conceptes similars a les llistes dels reis godos, i classes emparentades amb la didàctica decimonònica. En canvi, des de que sóc docent i des de que conec a Xelo Garrigós, Carme Adrià, Jordi Vicens, Pablo Sevilla i molts més (companys/amigues i alumnes/amics respectivament) la percepció ha canviat. Ser docent implica intercanvi de idees i replantejar -te la formació dels alumnes al teu càrrec com un exercici d’enriquiment personal. Per això, des de la pràctica professional (de disseny i docent), intente que aquells estimen la tipografia com jo ho faig i així procure transmetre-ho. I en eixe inercanvi bi-direccional t’apleguen a les mans iniciatives de grans dissenyadors de tipos que et faciliten eixa llavor.

Pentagram i Mark Mac Kay són dos bons exemples del «moviment per la difussió de la bona tipografia i dels seus usos». El primer utilitza l’humor i un video interactiu en el qual un psicòleg tipogràfic endevina la teua tipo a través de quatre senzilles preguntes que corresponen a la teua personalitat. La posada en escena, exquisita. Així com la música ambiental i eixe toc d’humor corporatiu inteligent fa que l’experiència pague la pena. I les tipos resultants són sempre grans obres d’art. Appreciated that the spread in the world of typography take into account more and more frequently, to the initiated or those who just intuit the importance of this discipline.And now this is possible thanks to intelligent humor and educational fun. I remember when I was tipography student I liked it, but lamented the large lists of similar items to the lists of kings Goths, and teaching classes related to nineteenth-century. However,since I’m teaching and I know from a Xelo Garrigós, Carme Adrià, Jordi Vicens, Pablo Sevilla and many others (peers / friends and students / friends respectively) perceptionhas changed. Being a teacher involves exchange of ideas and rethink the education of students in your position as an exercise of personal enrichment. Therefore, from professional practice (design and teaching), those who try to love the typography as well as I do and try to pass it. And in that bi-directional share comes at  the hands of major initiatives that will facilitate designers entering that seed types.
